Well, 99.9% of the hoop-la is over regarding the Casey Anthony murder trial in Florida. Now it’s just a circus by unemployed nitwits out in front of a generic courthouse. Is there anyone inside writing down those clowns’ grievances, promising to “look into them?” No. Go home, people, and create something that will stimulate our economy and benefit our society--or perhaps just fix supper.
I’m proud that I’m an American. I’m impressed that our interesting judicial system works the way it does. Are you going to point a finger at me and accuse me? Prove it. Prove what you’re accusing. And I'll take the opportunity to defend myself against everything you say and to present contrary proof that your accusation is unfounded.
I heard a radio talk-show host argue on TV last night that what our country needs is professional jurors. What? Are we going nuts? Professional jurors? Are you serious? The host of the show ignored him and changed the subject. Don't you know, that what immediately follows a pro jury is corruption of the lowest order. The mafia and the East Coast unions would have that in their back pockets in…oh, about a week. Soon thereafter we’d see “super jurors” with their own agents. And teams of jurors floating from one high-profile case to another, signing up with the highest bidder. In bright, colorful uniforms, no less. (They could just use bowling shirts, I suppose.) Now, an alternative is to pay jurors from a pool of homeless and unemployed folks. Like the people who donate blood every chance they get. But then will they show up for jury duty? What? Are we going nuts? Well, those are not juries of my peers, are they?
Juries of my peers give up a paying salary for about $2 a day (payable after all is said and done) and they commit to an honest evaluation of what they hear and see in the courtroom. In the courtroom! In the courtroom only, folks.

Then regarding Caylee Anthony, the round-faced cherub who is forever imbedded in our minds and Facebook posts. The Lord is the judge.* Jesus Himself has declared that the Kingdom of heaven is made up of children like her.** Children! As in the O.J. Simpson situations, Casey’s mom will probably someday face something that will either convict her completely or acquit her completely. The person(s) responsible for Caylee’s death will one day pay. “Be sure your sins will find you out.”*** That person(s) may one day plead, plead, plead to have a millstone tied around his/her neck and beg to be thrown into the sea.**** That would be mercy.
Right now, as earthly, unfinished and unsatisfying as this remark is, it’s the only thing that is partially comforting and completely true. The child Caylee Anthony is next to Jesus. She's a significant child in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Yes Sir. Ultimately, justice is ALWAYS served.
Yes, she is with Jesus... no better place to be.
And the person responsible will face Him as well... and no smooth talking, cocky, arrogant lawyer will save them on that day.
and amen ^j^
Well said Paul.
I agree with everything you said. Sometimes wanting things NOW is allowing for God's perfect plan. And He has one and He's the only one who knows it ALL. So luckily we can all go home and fix dinner! :)
That should say "isn't allowing for God's plan," of course.
We may not have all the evidence but God does and justice WILL be served...in His timing, no doubt!
Great post, Paul!
Great post Paul and now take settle down. No need to try for retribution. Justice is....
PS - I mentioned you in my post today. :)
