There's No Place Like Home...Plate

Baseball is beautiful.

Baseball is fair to all who compete.

Baseball is available in any culture and in any language and in any country.

Everyone has an equal opportunity.

Three strikes? You’re out.

Four balls? Take your base.

Three outs? Take the field.

The whole team wins or loses.

Any player can excel individually.

Any player can fail dismally.

A very small child can hold a baseball and dream.

Very old men can hold a baseball and dream.

People were created with two hands for the sole purpose of catching baseballs.

Baseball has risks.

Baseball has cautions.

Baseball is exciting.

Baseball is unpredictable.

One day it’s 22–5.

Another day it’s 5–22.

A granddad and his little grandchild can start a game, and both know what to do.

Any pitch can change the outcome of a situation or a game.

Father-daughter; mother-son…

Baseball has rules and boundaries.

Baseball is patient.

Baseball is reliable.

Baseball requires discipline.

Baseball has a final authority.

There’s no place like home…plate.
