Our delightful uh..., uh..."daughter" Wenli married Scott. Wenli is from China. We met her four years ago when she came to The Big City to go to college. She was lonely in America and away from home for the first time. We love Wenli. She is like family to us and we're very proud of her US/university accomplishments. (She's very shy.) Scott is a very nice man and well-liked. We like him, too. He's over 40, never been married--and a 100% gentleman. Know what I mean?
Interesting wedding: One of Wenli's American girlfriends (a mentor) walked her down the aisle and gave her away. Wenli's parents will come to the US next summer to meet their new son-in-law.
Wenli and Scott have both done good.
