Today I am grateful for Kids and "Les Mizz."
There are times when kids can do no wrong. Such was the case Saturday night when our grandson’s high school Performing Arts Department produced the musical, Les Miserables. About a hundred high school kids—cast, crew and orchestra—put on a magnificent three-hour show. Other compliments were amazing, spectacular, wonderful, awesome.
“Can you believe they’re just kids?!”
“How can such a great big voice come out of such a tiny little thing!” And on and on.
Afterward out in the lobby, we patted many kids on the back. Then we talked about the show and the kids all the way home.
This is Mike, our grandson, all dressed up as ‘Babet.’ He had two short singing parts and character parts in several scenes.
