Snowbound

We got hit pretty good with snow and ice here in the the Heart of America yesterday and today. Apparently more on the way, too. But I guess we should count our blessings. I just got off the phone with my good friend in North Dakota.

He said that since early this morning the snow has been nearly two feet deep and it's still coming down. The temperature is 14 below zero and the north wind is very strong, gusting up to 38 mph.

His wife has done nothing but stare through the kitchen window all day. He told me that if it gets any worse, he may have to let her come inside with his hunting dog.

I completely understand your friend especially if his wife is 5'4"... after 2 days you have to start digging to retrieve her. Not at all a great plan in cold weather.

Well, that gave me a chuckle.
Snowed here a few days ago and now we are just dealing with the cold. Stay warm.

Hahaha! Snow sure is pretty, but I'm ready for it to all melt away. We got about 5 inches here, and I'm ready for spring. We don't get much snow, so this is not the norm. Stay warm!

It snowed here last night - they're saying 5 inches. But stopped very early this morning. The roads are already clear. But schools are closed. Lots of happy folks here.

Booooo.
btw, some of your snow was on our farm until I blew it into the air with our big blower and sent it sailing away.
You can thank me later.
