This is All Angie's Fault

I have Angie Poole to thank for this: a Meme about movies. She tagged me.

Total number of DVDs/VHS tapes I own: somewhere in the neighborhood of 3—and two of them feature Muhammed Ali.

The last film I bought: ET, but I bought a few for gifts.

The last film I watched:
I enjoy movies—good ones, bad ones, clean ones. I watch then on VHS or TV; rarely in theaters. Last night I watched Men in Black II on that Atlanta TV station.

Five films I watch a lot or mean a lot to me: (Can I change this to Five Films That Really Stuck With Me Because They Are So Good?)

  1. Shawshank Redemption
  2. Usual Suspects
  3. The Manchurian Candidate (Original B&W with Frank Sinatra and Angela Lansbury)
  4. The Unforgiven
  5. When We Were Kings
  6. Cold Sassy Tree
  7. LA Confidential
  8. The ever-endearing Smoky and the Bandit
  9. Fried Green Tomatoes (I enjoyed the book, too, before the movie came out. Does anyone know who wrote it? Hint: Today is Flag Day.)
  10. The Blues Brothers
  11. I could watch Veggie Tales over and over again.

This is not a good movie list for a family-friendly site like mine.

Question: Why is The Passion of the Christ always preceded with “Mel Gibson’s…”?

Tag Five:

Confidential note to Angie: I'm only tagging Cara because I think everyone in my short list of Hip Joints has already been tagged. But I did double up on the number of movies.
Confidential note to Cara: We're even!
