Yesterday (Wednesday) was a special day here in Pancake Flats. On my lunch hour, I celebrated the day with a walk in the park. I walked one point six-oh miles (1.60). During the evening rush hour I slowed down to 60 mph. All the while, all kinds of people smiled and waved at me or gave me a “thumbs up.”I went to AWANAS at our church after dinner and messed around with about 60 energetic boys and girls.
Then, believe it or not, even the late night newscasters had plenty to say about it. Giddy!
Yessir! Yesterday was quite a day. It’s been almost three months since we've seen 60 degree temperatures.
