The Joy of Dinner Time Laughter

Remember that delicious Cobb Salad I made for my son-in-law’s birthday? Well, of course he wasn’t the only one here. My grandkids came, too, and the oldest one, age 13, loves salad. The younger ones had a slab of “Gloria’s Glorious Golden Fried Chicken.”

Anyway, during the course of the meal, I said, “I’m really glad I made this cuz I haven’t had very much roughage this week.”

My grandson responded with just six words: “You know you’re getting old when…”

Everybody laughed at me.
