No Joy--Big Numbers; Far Too Big

Not far from Pancake Flats is a home that displays an American flag for every American service man or woman who has been killed in Iraq or Afghanistan. On July 31, I drove by and the sad number was 3647. Almost a month later, that number has risen considerably.



I am not anti-war, but I am anti-this so-called war. If there was a reason for it, it might be less painful to see this honorable field of flags.
