Yet Another Bench--Chinese

My First Wife and I have a favorite Chinese restaurant where the food is good, the staff is friendly and the owners know us from way back when. In the lobby sits this magnificent bench. It was hand-carved and hand-built in Hong Kong many years ago. It’s solid, strong and delicate.

Notice the matching coffee table, heavy with inlaid dark green marble. The legs are identical to the bench’s legs.

“It’s very comfortable, Hunny,” said My First Wife. “Yes. Very cumfabur,” agrees our friend Michelle.
