30 Days of Gratitude, Day 22
Today I am grateful for Our Best Friends.
Gary and Carol. My First Wife and I met them in 1968. Then we went our way and they went theirs. Regardless of where we are, we have always remained the deepest of friends. We got to hug ‘em in Arizona last month.
Jim and Brenda held on real tight when I was about to slide into a real deep sin pit. You can say they rescued me. That was about 20 years ago. They still haven't let go and we like that.
Lillian is My First Wife’s great friend, but she loves both of us as much as anyone in her own family. It don't get much better than that.
Pastor Hilderman died two years ago this month, but not before we blended our Friendship DNA. We’re still connected.
Jordy. Who knows why we’re friends? Down at the office we hit it off from the get-go. She and My First Wife became good friends, too. She chuckles at my jokes, even if she doesn’t get them.
Lots of bloggers. You know who you are. Aren’t we all like the pen-pals of the 50s/60s? But by blogging we get to visit far more frequently—without licking stamps. Thanks for stopping by all the time.
"May there be peace within your walls
and security within your citadels."
"For the sake of my brothers and friends,
I will say, "Peace be within you."
For the sake of the house of the LORD our God,
I will seek your prosperity."--Psalm 122:7, 8, 9
