Do you have…? Have you ever had…a Living Bible? I only ask because Dr. Kenneth Taylor, who paraphrased (translated) it, passed away recently at age 88.
And I only mention that because I listened to him speak/teach several times while I was in college many years ago in Portland, Oregon. He’s almost an old friend. Many short-sighted people pooh-poohed his paraphrase, but listen: it is a magnificent work, accomplished by one man alone. Who else ever did that? Single-handedly? And how many lives were helped/touched/changed by Ken Taylor?
I know of three: my kids. They all learned how to read out of Ken Taylor’s My First Bible in Pictures.
