I think the producers of American Idol should go back and rethink the way the winner is chosen. Apparently there’s a fly in this year’s ointment.

Jordin Sparks will receive my next four hours worth of speed-dialing votes. She’s really, really good and really, really beautiful—and only seventeen—but Melinda Doolittle was the winner the night she first auditioned. She was the hands-down winner Tuesday night, too.
